HANDbook

The HANDbook is an exploration of the human hand as both an object and a tool. The project takes the form of a 16-page book that examines the hand through research, poetry, historical artwork, and original visual work. Accompanying the book are six postcards documenting the many ways hands are used, from communication and creation to labor and connection. The collection is housed in a custom-made clamshell box, bringing the individual pieces together as a cohesive object and archive.
